Bio

Jess O'Brien is a Vermont-based singer-songwriter whose voice will stop you in your tracks — warm, soulful, and lived-in in the way that only comes from someone who has really felt what she is singing about. She writes folk songs that feel both timeless and topical, rooted in country, blues, and classic Americana, with storytelling that is honest and close to the bone. Fans of Patty Griffin and Gillian Welch will find something familiar here, and something worth coming back to.

Her debut album These Days came out in 2025, produced and recorded by Colin McCaffrey, with executive production and vocal harmonies by Paul Miller.
